Space Girl bath bomb

Pop Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century into the VHS player, drop Space Girl bath bomb in the bath water, and prepare to remember the transition of 1999 to the 2000s!
LUSH Cosmetics is soon to be discontinuing this bath bomb, so before it disappears back into space I wanted to do a review... You can still purchase it in your local store and online, but not for too much longer (if our sources are correct).

"Astronomy 101: Get Ready for a journey into bath time constellations."

Space Girl wasn't a bath bomb I was every dying to try because of such mixed reviews online, but I picked a few up earlier this year because I am a fan of almost every noted ingredient in this otherworldly fizzer.
Grapefruit and bergamot oils combine together to make a lovely citrus scent, and as the popping candies work their cosmic magic the heavy notes of blackcurrant are released into the atmosphere... The popping candies were visibly noticeable, but not as much as other bath bombs who share this unique ingredient.
The initial colors of this Saturn shaped bath bomb are gorgeous, a lilac-purple and blood orange-red take turns being released as the bomb fizzes away. The red notes won, taking over the color of the water and leaving it completely see through and slightly tinted. I was not impressed with the final color results in the slightest; at least the process of the product dissolving was pleasing to watch.
There wasn't as much glitter in the water as I expected from the way the entire bomb is coated, but as you all know I'm not too fond of glitter, so this was a positive to me... I would like to also note that this was the fasted dissolving LUSH bath bomb I had ever used. This does not bother me, but I know a lot of people take this into consideration before purchasing.
To those that enjoy simple baths, or slight flare, this bath bomb is definitely for you! I know the scent is nice enough that I will definitely be stocking up on a few more before the discontinuation.
There isn't too much I can say about this product, because it is a tad "basic" compared to others... I rate Space Girl bath bomb with a 3/5... There are definitely better LUSH bombs, but the scent and nostalgia of this product make up for some of its downfalls... Get down to your local shop, or grab a few from the website, before this Saturn sensation is gone for good!
